We're breaking down and going to see Alien:Covenant tomorrow.

I think the thing that bothered me most about Prometheus was just how stupid the scientists were in the face of the unknown. It was as if someone who who thought scientists are inhuman and about cockroach level was telling a story about scientists. It was insulting to anyone driven by passion.

Maybe I'm not going...

    If you're a fan of the original franchise, don't waste your time or money it was aweful. Same tropes as Prometheus but the deal breaker is what Ridley did explaining the Alien mythos, ridiculous and lame!
