I make calls on my smartphone every day. Not many calls, but at least once a day. That's because my landline's inclusive minutes only apply at the weekend.
Actually, I do make family calls because LD is included but other than that, not so much. I would be just as happy using my phone with BT earpiece as this.
How many times have we called to set a time and date for an appointment, then said, "Hang up and I'll call in a few seconds and leave it on your voicemail." Human contact just isn't as reliable -- I regret to say!

ReplyDeleteI check my bank balance and pay bills on my phone much more frequently than I converse on it.
ReplyDeleteMan actually talking... Yuck
ReplyDeleteTaking a phone call these days feels like such a distraction/disruption
I don't talk on my phone as much as I used to. Maybe 1 - 2 times every couple of days.

ReplyDeleteI just read the article and watched the embedded video. That concept looks pretty cool, but the wearable is incredibly large on that guy's wrist. 😯
ReplyDeleteRandy Resnick Don't forget Telex 😉
ReplyDeleteTelex was a skill I tell you. That tape was hard to feed back in.
ReplyDeleteI'm a 'Hey you, what time is it?' guy. At least I was for decades before cell phones.
