There were some really cool elements to this movie but it really is a family movie without the nods to adults you get with animated movies. A bit of a let down after last weeks Mad Max.

ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the movie, but I'm not a fan of narration at the beginning of movies. Other movies like WALL-E and Up let the visuals tell the story. They don't underestimate the observational power of children.
ReplyDeleteThe whole movie had a bit of a Doctor Who vibe which I also enjoyed.
Fury Road, I feel safe in saying, will be the best movie this year by a long shot.... It was certainly one of the best action movies of the last 5, even 10 years!
