I have this on my wish list.
I've always wanted to love Mieville and searched out Perdido Street Station thinking I would love it. Barely made it past the first few pages. Fast forward a decade or so and I borrowed The City & The City from the library. L-O-V-E-D it. Then read Kraken, Embassy Town, and Railsea. Did he mellow or did I my tastes change? Don't know but I love short stories by good writers so how could I pass this up.

I live in a small Canadian Prairie city with a spouse and a dog. We retired in 2018. This is what life is like.
