Playing with my Gear S2 some more. There are some really easy to use templates you can stylize without having to use your phone. I like analog watch faces so I went with one that has my step count and the date on a grey background. I ordered a baby black Python patterned watch strap with quick release pins. Should look very nice with the black watch housing.

Also found if I install AndroidWear on my phone it enables notification replies from Hangouts on the Gear S2. Apparently AndroidWear adds functionality to wearables even though you can't connect to it.
