This movie was a miss for me. Not sure what was the reason. I did have very high expectations due to its great cast. I knew nothing about the Dr. Strange character and was looking forward to learning about who he is. Overall, I liked the action and special effects and humour in it. What the movie did not do for me is make me feel. I didn't feel the suspense or the emotion happy or sad.
ReplyDeleteThere were some things that did bug me. They tend to be certain specific plot devices that I tend not to like more often than I do like. I also got a Dr. Who feel and I am not a fan of Dr. Who. There were a number of things I do like. It is just that the movie feels like a bunch if stuff that is cool, but did not fit together well for me.
Not every movie is for everyone. I really like Dr Who so those elements worked for me. Fred remembered Cumberbatch from the imitation game. I really liked that arrogant actions has effects that didn't just go away by the end of the move.
ReplyDeleteCass Morrison I loved Imitation Game. He did a great job there. As someone who studied Computer Science in school, I was aware of Turing's work. The movie also showed more of his life that I wasn't aware of.
