Canada has some unique challenges.
Long cold nights for a third of the year and cultural differences will complicate how we meet our obligations. We need to help those communities be more self sustaining. http://www.cbc.ca/1.4120055
We all need to do our part. Tomorrow is NZ Arbor Day, so with a little luck (i.e. ok weather and this cold goes away) ten or twenty trees will get planted on our block. If we had a better sense of priorities we'd be reforesting about half the country....
