This is made more hilarious by us having an NDP government with Notley at the head.
There is a load of military bases in Alberta. I wouldn't believe the gun ownership rates though. Saskatchewan probably has more they're just unregistered. And the British based isn't a secret, Prince Harry was there for awhile.
