First movie that scared me into nightmares - Hush Hush Sweet Charlotte.

First movie that scared me into nightmares - Hush Hush Sweet Charlotte.

I think it was the head bouncing down the stairs. I didn't even have to see Hallowe'en to be scared:)

  1. I don't recall the first scary movie I watched. It was a Chinese movie and I don't recall the title. It was about ghosts.

The first English horror movie I ever watched was Prince of Darkness. I actually thought that movie was more funny than scary. There was only one scary scene which a friend who seen it already took advantage of to scare me even more.

  2. Omen. I was too young for it. Still eery of crows.

  3. A ridiculously crap film called The Horror at 37,000ft, starring William Shatner and Chuck Connors. It gave me sleepless nights for weeks when I saw it as a kid. Watched it again recently on You Tube. Really don't know why I was so scared.
Also agree with Tim Hunt re The Thing. Think it was the head falling off the man and crawling around the room that did it for me!

  4. A documentary on the a-bombing of Hiroshima— if documentaries are included in this.
