Farmers should be busy in their fields seeding before June rains.

There hasn't be a a lot of rain and quite a bit of wind to dry stuff up. This is a nice start after the last couple years where it took longer for standing water to clear up.

    I think if the prediction is more than 24 hours in the future we can just roll dice.

    Nothing uses up as much computation as weather forecasting and it's still about 95% entertainment. Farmer's Almanac.

    Actually in the prairies forecasts are generally accurate it to 8 days I've found. And hourly is kind of amazing.

    I've been watching my evap usnits I have scattered around my land in Illinois. Looks like it's going to be a great year in the central midwest as well.
