Uber is illegal in BC ... even if they weren't such a vile corporation you still wouldn't see them. The BC Taxi mafia made sure of that weeks after Uber launched in Vancouver.
Here, the situation is the opposite. Longtime taxi drivers have said the hailing services (mainly Uber) are killing their livelihoods, and that their Uber drivers don't realize they are being left holding the bag, because their cars are going to depreciate so much faster, while Uber gets richer.
It appears Uber is too busy planning its latest defense on sexual harassment charges to show up!
