People I know who don't "steal" treats usually have dietary restrictions. This is a human thing.
It's amazing how much difference it makes to have fruit cut up in the fridge. And get thinner versions of cookies and mini chocolate bars so they can be part of your regular diet.

I grew up downing Chips Ahoys and Orange Crushes, with a Frosted Mini-Wheat for desert. I blame the government!
ReplyDeleteThe ‘it takes too much time to cook’ plays off this dynamic: reward vs. required effort. Convenience often leads to sub-optimal food choices. (And it doesn’t help that the work environment, by shaving time off employees’ breaks, forcing them into the convenience trap.)
