The US is sliding back to the 70s where the only way to get reasonable gun control was for lots of black people to legally arm.
Didn't the Black Panthers or some group like that prompt that move but arming with long guns?

In inner cities, yah. But now days they''l just kill a black guy with a gun without questions. They've made it a death sentence for black people to carry firearms legally. So...the laws won't change because black people are being forced to comply with being unarmed at all times by a policing system that will kill them.

ReplyDeleteAlso, black men are far more likely to get felony convictions for drug possession, despite usage being roughly equal, and in many states that means no legal gun possession.
