ReplyDeleteAny show about current events is depressing. Even comedy shows are depressing because they make jokes about depressing stuff on the news.
ReplyDelete... I am put in mind of that extremely odd portrait / self-portrait by Diego Velázquez, Las Meninas. There you are, reflected in the mirror over the fireplace, taking the picture. It's great.
ReplyDeleteThere's a youtube purporting to show mysterious photographs, like someone's family reunion pic that when developed inexplicably had a relative in it that had died 20 years before. Of course, it's all unsubstantiated second hand legend, but it freaks us out. Let's send them this one and claim the woman in the mirror was the owner of the house in 1910, or something.
