I live in a small Canadian Prairie city with a spouse and a dog. We retired in 2018. This is what life is like.

But that's what these idiots want: white & Christian. They just don't have the balls to own up to their racism.
ReplyDeleteThe CAQ is full of idiots. They are the party of the day, because people don't want the liberals. And the liberals have been in power so long because the anglophones here would vote for red cabbage in their riding. The Gazette (the only anglo newspaper in Qc, unfortunately the equivalent of the NY Post) just wrote an article with the title (from memory): "Where can the anglophone vote go?". Here's an idea: the anglophones in Montreal have two hospitals and three universities. No party has ever tried to reduce or remove any of them; maybe they should have a broader view of the world.
ReplyDeleteThe problem now is that the idiots have a shot at power. Last time they got close (as the ADQ, official opposition), it took about 5 days before they took a serious plunge in the polls.
Also, their power base is rural. It's basically the same thing as Trump (and Ford): The farmers are trying to fix the non-existent problems in the cities.
CAQ: Idiots.
Liberals: Corrupt.
PQ: They don't even know what they stand for.
QS: They're too left leaning even for the lefties I know.
Yes, it's the corruption that creeps in that's really the problem.
