The whole thing is ludicrous. I mean, we're expected to believe that he died in this fight after they initially claimed he walked on out the door?? Meanwhile, conservative politicians here have begun what The Washington Post calls a "whisper campaign to smear Khashoggi" presumably to make people not care he was murdered. Then we had the president cheering the assault of a reporter here in the states. It's all simultaneously disgusting and scary.
