I remember this program at Oakalla. People like to whitewash small town 70s. Now I'm finding out just how horrible boys had it - there was no relief. From sex offender phys-ed teachers to abusive justice system.
Parents tended to believe authorities and assume there was a structured program in place. I hope this man has learned to live with his assault like many female survivors do. Letting it inform but not overwhelm his life choices.
