Someone, lots of someones, said John Wick was a good movie so I got it for Christmas. The violence was pretty over the top but too realistic for me. The demons were human.

    I had no idea what I was getting into when I started watching Wick... Guess it flew under the radar. But it was good.

    Since I was at home I left a couple times. Fred laughs because I want to watch these movies but I really can't. I am glad he went back to his new life with a new dog so Marcus' sacrifice wasn't in vane. And I liked that only the owner of the Continental can break the rules.

    It was a pretty violent show, for sure; not something I'd have any interest in watching again. Sure, I mostly enjoyed it, but meh. I like interesting films, not dark action fluff. That's not to say I don't enjoy violent action movies, I just find them ... I dunno ... like, they would be better with less violence? Sometimes it seems like they add it just to make it more in-yo-face.

    Have you seen the movie, "The Grand Seduction"? It's not an action flick, it's a comedy that I'd give a solid 9/10. I'd gladly watch that one a second time, whereas with John Wick, I'd be gladly never watch it again.

    The grand seduction doesn't sound like my style. I like sci-fi mostly, just less violence.

    It's funny, every time I see one of the actors or actresses in anything else, I always feel a weird connection with them, and I want to tell them, "You need to push the writers/producers/whatever to bring back Firefly, where you actually belong."  LOL!

    While I haven't seen Castle, I have heard that one or two of those actors are simply misplaced Firefly actors.  Clearly it's time for the universe to right itself.
