I keep putting my tablet down and then not be able to find it - it's usually slid off a chair arm into the cushion. Anyone got suggestions for making it beep from my phone?
Aging is awful.
I live in a small Canadian Prairie city with a spouse and a dog. We retired in 2018. This is what life is like.

ReplyDeleteIn case you were wondering what a Tile is :p
I keep one in my wallet and it's proven handy.

ReplyDeletea case or a holder might help (like those remote control holders you can get that slip over the arm of the couch)
Set up a separate hangout account and just call it from your phone
ReplyDeleteI just ordered the Sony z2 tablet from the Canex for $350. I like my Nexus 9 but couldn't pass up a waterproof 10" 3 gig ram tablet for under $400. Hopefully I made the right choice
ReplyDeleteI really like mine Rhiney Maceachern. First time I've ever not replaced the stock keyboard for example :p
ReplyDeleteCharles Gaines I had the Sony z3 phone for a few months and I enjoyed many things. The Canex on the base always has good deals. I'm looking fwd to the tablet and hearing your positive experience makes me think I made a good choice
ReplyDeletePush a button that beeps on your phone
ReplyDeleteI vote in favor of ADM (or whatever other proprietary service your manufacturer uses). Although, there is something to be said of an attached device like a Tile, Pebble Bee, etc. if your device ever completely drains its battery. I had that happen once where my dead Nexus 7 slid under a car seat and I couldn't find it for a week. Then again, Doze mode in Marshmallow is making that scenario increasingly unlikely.
ReplyDeleteThanks for all the suggestions. I kind of wanted something like the find my phone I have between my watch and my phone since it's just around the house. I'm not really looking for something to go on the tablet.
