ReplyDeleteMobile use is on the rise - and most mobile users pay for bandwidth. I would quite literally pay a fifth as much with an ad blocker as without when reading a page like the example graphic there.

ReplyDeleteEven without the video ad, the page payload is almost doubled. That's ridiculous. Add to this that ads are typically major malware vectors, slow the system to a crawl, are served from servers that appear to think over a minute is an adequate response time and which deliver data at >1 kb/minute...
