Risk =/= hazard. The main thing is to effectively limit exposure
This applies to everything. If you are diabetic you limit exposure to sugars, if you are prone to soft tissue injuries you avoid certain activities. If you have a bad back and try to avoid injury by not eating sugar it just isn't effective.
