One of my friends did his Philosophy PhD on subjects around this. It seems that most philosophers come to the conclusion that human rights are "because" and don't have a philosophical argument.
ReplyDeleteThere is some research in philosophy at how you come to human rights.
They do a pretty good overview in the article. As in any philosophical topic all you can do is present arguements for your position.
