ReplyDeleteThat very year, 1983, my father wrote in a letter that the computer was a "trendy" and poor excuse for an essential writing tool, as schools were touting it.... In 1998, he emailed me that the internet was "a wonderful new tool" for communicating. We all evolved on that, didn't we!
