We were looking for something to hold our rudder steering in place, The screw keeps backing off at the most inconvenient moment. Mini bungies are fine but have sharp bits. These gear ties are like twist ties only bigger and covered in plastic. Super bendy and they stay in place. Since here are no sharp ends they can stay packed in with the kayaks. The pack comes with a range of sizes for almost any job.
