ReplyDeleteThere'll eventually be a USB-C Macbook in my life, but that's probably not for another four years or so.
I've used numerous Type-C cables and devices. Every single device was fully compatible with every single cable. I only bought good quality cables, though .... There have been a LOT of vendors out there who mash together some cables and market them as Type-C on eBay. Don't buy those.

Not as bad as usb3 which is supposed to be backwards compatible with 2 but not everything
