With the employment situation and working conditions in Japan, it is difficult to raise a family or have any kind of a social life. It's not just about men having to be a breadwinner.
ReplyDeleteThe article talks about the tradition of excessive work hours but also that women consider men who won't work those hours to be losers. That's a pretty heavy pressure.
