Nothing like providing a template for another government while failing your citizens by adopting neoliberal values.
The trashing of the Heritage Fund in the 90s is the equivalent of your parents saving money for you at birth and you living large as soon as you get your hand on it. No one would say that's sound financial planning but it fits in with Puritan work ethics of work until you die, which will hopefully be sooner than the car loan is due.
