Haha, poor pooch. I remember once when our 3-legged border collie (who was 17, with failing eyesight) got lost in our back yard in the rain. It was both tragic and hilarious at the same time. We didn't know whether to laugh or cry. In the end, my brother went out (it was pouring exceptionally strongly) and carried her. She was rather indignant about being carried, being a medium sized dog and all, but once she was in the entry way, she shook herself dry and brightened up immediately. It was suddenly like a big game, she got all playful in an old-doggy way, so it all ended well.
... have you been forgiven yet?
ReplyDeleteIf that's the worst thing you do, you aren't very good at being a bad human. It's like you are not trying. :-)
ReplyDeleteI was half expecting to see an old lady slipping on a banana peel. :-)
Not sure about being forgiven ever. I'm not sharing when it's demanded and I'm still slow on getting being the personal up escalator
