  1. The biggest hurdle for any new social media app or service is that most of the people that users would want to connect with are likely not on it. The most important thing that a social media network needs to have are people on it that users want to connect with. That advantage goes to existing established social media networks. There has to be something truly amazing for people to get on knowing there are limited people on it.

  3. Cass Morrison G+ has an explore feature. I actually was looking for people local to where I live. G+ used to have a local feed feature where you could see posts from people nearby. I ended up growing my network from there.

G+ also has a stronger brand name recognition. I think mostly tech enthusiasts were on initially. Most of the people I connected with early posted a lot of tech stuff.

Is Vero smartphone only? I prefer to use my PC when it is available.

  4. Make sure to find me. It's kind of slow - I want to keep track of people I've met here.

  5. Something is very weird with the app. Typed in the activation code, but the app keeps telling me it is invalid. Then somehow I got in. Not impressed with the bugginess so far.

In any case, I succumbed to peer pressure and signed up. I would have liked a web interface. The network seems to be app only. Also, I cannot seem to just post a text message. Everything shared has to be a link or picture.

  6. Yeah little bugs ... Had the same thing where it said invalid but closed the app and went back in and I'm in
