Duffy has started having his legs slip out and not being able to jump up. This is hard on him as he likes to sit on chairs. The sitting close is unusual behaviour on Milo's part so maybe he knows Duffy is feeling a little low. I have a metacam analog for him so that should help. At least it's warmer this weekend so we can go for a nice walk.

Milo went through something similar and either came around or we got used to it. The carry thing is why we have smaller dogs.

  1. Concerning when that happens I would get a Checkup, unfortunately you want to rule out tumors etc.

  2. Fred noticed hunching so it's likely back pain, Duffy jumps up on stuff a lot as he's short. I'll make sure he has metacam every day and goes for walks to keep active. We will see how he is a couple weeks into March.

  3. Went for a longer walk. Everything was fine until a bouncy puppy got out of control. I had to carry Duffy at times because he just wanted to be still. We all had a big afternoon nap but I'm really worried. He also seems to be eating snow instead of drinking water. His tail stops wagging and we'll be making decisions.
