I suppose this a "near miss" incident because it was a 'friendly' spy agency?
The company I work for has business in the EU. Network security was ramped up about 5 years ago and we (users) are constantly tested on cyber-security habits. We were marginally affected by the attacks on the Ukrainian systems a few years ago. Lots of grunt work in network security. I tend to agree with the Belgian minister, who in a moment of rare honesty, said who knows if other government agencies agreed to the hack. It's all plausible deniability.

I live in a small Canadian Prairie city with a spouse and a dog. We retired in 2018. This is what life is like.
