Many of the promoted funds didn't last for 10 years because they were that poor in performance.
I remember those books. I think a successful manager is going to be very active in getting information about stocks and equities to keep slightly ahead of the markets and get lucky sometimes. I think the money tree was from selling the stock tips books:)
