Whoa didn't expect that. A tankless water heater costs more than an average water heater, but would be more efficient than the rental unit. This is an incredibly shady practice, considering the ban on door to door HVAC and water heater sales.
ReplyDeleteThat being said... I don't mind renting mine because at any time in the life of it they replace it when needed. I've had to do two in 11 years.
ReplyDeleteWe bought our and have replaced only once. It's part of homeownership. These people were not informed of the rental agreement though and the landlord said they did not get timely service.
