It is important to practice for emergency response - most people think in terms of fire drills.

I'm at an industrial workplace so we practice fire, tornado, confined space rescue and spill response to get roles understood in likely scenarios. What kind of society spawns the need for active shooter drills in locations where children would be the target? Not one that values children.

    The newest way human life in this nation is reshaped around the needs of the gun industry. We’ve had these active shooter drills at my workplace too.
