I live in a small Canadian Prairie city with a spouse and a dog. We retired in 2018. This is what life is like.

Travails of an old dog - finally getting the help he needed.
Travails of an old dog - finally getting the help he needed.
Since there are extra ticks up here we decided to get Milo to the vet early for his annual and get a geriatric panel done so we have a better idea of his health. He had some bladder crystals so the vet put him on antibiotics. Next day he was like a sack of dog, barely walking and in big pain. He could barely turn his head and was very limp. Checked his bloodwork results and nothing was there. We used some Tramadol we had left over from Duffy and stayed home with him. Got some NSAIDs to help with inflammation pain.
Welp - he must have been passing a bladder crystal because he's back to normal. As a bonus, his loud snoring has gone away. I'll give him the Rheumacam for a couple more days and let him finish his anti-biotics. I really want him to meet Bennie in August.
Oh and this is a great picture of the floor that will be all vinyl plank in a couple weeks.

I’m so happy he’s feeling better. You two are loving “parents” to Milo.
