Last year I got a second Samsung clear case and put a Speigen Ring on it. Love it.
My regular case works in my wallet and the Speigen ring is for kayaking and stuff where I can even add a lanyard as well as having a good grip.

I can't speak to this, as I have rather large hands..... Alas, I do like some of the more elegant offerings.
