Bennie likes to sleep on the air vent because it's very cool. His tag slipped between the slats so when he got up, the grill did as well. Quickly scooped him up and detached the grill. Clearly didn't bother him because here he is sleeping on it again. Dad donated a handkerchief to cover the vent cover. This is an important time for him to get experiences and for us to show our trustworthiness to him. He's wearing a loose fit quick release collar. All our dogs do in case they go walkabout.
We're also doing some click training. This is the earliest I've ever had any expectations of starting training other than eating in their kennel. So far he's sitting, being tempted into lying down and, of course, when he runs over it's a super big deal. Treats for running over when distracted. Cairns are smarties.
And my voice has gotten unnaturally high;)
