  2. My hockey games are in the evening. When I was younger, I was able to sleep right after exercising. Can't seem to do that anymore the past several years. I need a couple of hours to cool down at least.

  3. Gene Chiu I have the exact same problem. Pretty much with all exercises and sports I practice besides hockey as well.

    This rule will always be hard to follow: not doing sports for me is a sure way of going nuts.

  4. Gene Chiu I notice you also play board games. I also have a hard time falling asleep after playing very strategic board games.

  5. Cass Morrison One of the rules not mentionned here but that I've seen and heard from mental health specialists is "No video screens one hour before sleeping".

    In this podcast, one of the sleep specialists says that the worst ritual we have is brushing our teeth before we go to bed in a lighted bathroom.
