Favourite automation. No connectivity and inexpensive.
An easy way to save on electricity is to turn lights off - but what if you keep forgetting? This $20 switch is super reliable and there's a YouTube video to help with installation (always turn off the breaker). There is a range of times to stay on, day light detection and the motion detector is very sensitive. When we open the door the light is on by the time we step in. Best of all, the dogs do not trigger it.

Yup, Lutron makes some good stuff. I've got a few around the house.
ReplyDeleteIf you're feeling crafty, it can be done in half the price + some learning with Limor Fried's company
