That pic shows snow as high as it usually gets in any typical winter in Louisville, though we can get heavy stuff too.

Here at the mid latitudes of the U.S., climate change has made weather a variable. It seems we get all four seasons throughout the year. It's hard to plan, hard to set the heat/ac without waking up in a sweat or a shiver. And allergies and colds and flu are more common.
