Clothing and furniture could have unexpected pesticide levels. At least wash kids clothes before they wear them.
It is important to prevent pest entry into Canada but not at the price of personal health. Labeling laws like the EU would help and should be easy for manufacturers to supply since they already do the a market.

This is free trade in the era of corporate excess and non-accountability. We were promised a prosperous and more peaceful world by NAFTA and GATT. It was a big con.
