If you come in contact with a bat, or are bitten by any animal, start the #rabies vaccination protocol.
The rabies viruses are slow enough acting that post contact vaccination can give your body the boost it needs to develop antibodies to overwhelm the viruses. And the protocol has changed. It used to be a painful abdominal series but now is in the arm like all other vaccinations. Still a multi injection situation.
