ReplyDeleteMy understanding is that it doesn't matter if the tumor is primary or a metastasis but has to be accessible for injection. So this is not well suited for hard to access tumors, unless there is at least one tumor that is accessible. You need to inject both compounds into the tumor for it to get the immune system to take over.
I was thinking tumours that could be biopsied but not removed. And if it's a metastatic tumour the article said would be attacked with the same mechanism as the primary tumour. It's if it's a different type of tumour that you have to inject there as well. Perhaps I misread though.
