I'd love to see what happens to it when a 4 foot deep flood moving at 40 mph goes by. Hint: Unless you have the traction of a modern main-line battle tank, your car is going to go with it.
It may perform better in areas that are flooded with standing water - but it will still have a bad day in water that's deeper than it is tall....
It floats so it doesn't matter how deep the water is. I don't expect you would be able to control direction on the water at all but there value to not having to replace your vehicle every time it floods.
Probably not as good an idea as they say.
