We're finally updating the upstairs flooring and decided to go with Torlys vinyl plank. We're pulling up the carpet and removing the baseboard in preparation. Luckily we have a couple weeks. Torlys has a neat room visualizer.
We're considering changing out the downstairs fireplace next winter to open up the space. We currently have a see through peninsula style gas fireplace and we're going to install more of an in wall style. It shouldn't be to expensive since the gas is all in. We'd have to do some flooring under the system we're taking out...that could be interesting.
