ReplyDeletei remember when my f-i-l retired his last day was punch in, and essentially you walk around hte plant and folks would shake hands, get you a cup of coffee, then it was coffee break, and then more congratulations and then it was lunch and then more wandering ...
You will never again experience the joy of getting past the hump, or the elation of Friday quitting time. ☹️

ReplyDeleteRyan Moore Not sure. We're having lunch on Thursday, drinks Thursday evening then, I guess, tour around Friday. I should hit all the shifts that way. Fred said I should leave early.
