More illustration of Canada's "not niceness". Elect authoritarian leader; feelings of powerlessness ensues. Violence is never acceptable - even toward media (Toronto Sun) from the "other" side.
I don't read the Toronto Sun because a) not in Toronto and b) ridiculously biased. But I would not assault someone who works there. Were it an accidental contact in the heat of the moment I would definitely apologize and withdraw from the activity. I know I get swept up in mob activities (part of being a passionate person) so I just avoid them unless they are inclusive (fireworks displays etc.)
