Kind of, have around 279 games in my steam library but extremely rarely play any mobile games. Notable exception was Fallout Shelter though. I don't know what it is about mobile games but they simply don't click for me usually.
ReplyDeleteI don't like gaming on my phone because the touch screen interface is terrible for game controls. I only have a few tennis games on my phone. The problem I have is I often move in the wrong direction because I cannot feel where the direction controls are. Physical inputs are much better because you can feel them and don't have to look to see you are pressing the correct direction. For most games, you have to look at the part of the screen where the action is and not at the control pad.
ReplyDeleteI do play most mobile games on my tablet because hand positions can obscure parts of the game you need to see. But the question was do you set aside time for gaming? I think the time I would use for gaming, I use to go to exercise classes or just read - especially now that Bennie is here and we're deep into house training.
ReplyDeleteI have a number of leisure activities and only a limited amount of free time. It is just a matter of what I feel into at the time. This past month, I've just been into playing Neverwinter, an MMO, so I have spent more time on that than anything else. Currently, I am also watching Babylon 5, an old TV series, and reading/watching videos on math (mostly due to the recent news on the Riemann Hypothesis).
ReplyDeleteI'm currently recovering from an injury, so haven't had a chance to play hockey. Will start up again later on October.
I don't game much on my phone. I only do it occasionally to kill a little time. I have been into my tennis games on my phone on occasion.
ReplyDeleteI tend to think of phone games as time killers as well, while waiting for something.
