Tick season is earlier every year. We get our dogs vaccinated and wear long pants. We are in a low risk area for Lyme for now.
If I were a hunter or lived on an acreage I would definitely be interested in a vaccination. The signs and symptoms are so nebulous it really does rely on history. I know I hesitate to take antibiotics unless I really need them so hopefully doctors aren't prescribing them like they used to.
